Meeting With Judge Hardy

Dallin is in a GT class for homeschoolers this year.  It has been a great fit for him,  He has loved learning about solar powered cars and photo- journalism.  It's amazing how the Lord just puts things in our paths to help is in teaching our kids.  Dallin is currently working on a photo-journalism project where he had to interview someone in the community and prepare a powerpoint presentation on that person.  He chose to interview our local Judge.  He had a great time and was very impressed by the fact that the judge likes to ride motorcycles around the country.  Dallin says that he does not want to be a judge when he grows up.  I could have guessed that.  Anyway,  I'm glad that he got this opportunity to interview the judge.

Balloon Races

This is our one time per year that we get to ride on the city bus.  The kids love it.  I love seeing the sky filled with balloons.  No balloon rides this year, but we did get to see Smokey Bear!!
