Family Home Evening

Family Home Evening at our house is the kids' favorite thing in the whole world. Every day they will ask when is it going to be family home evening. I guess because it is the night where we drop everything and do fun things that the kids love to do. Of course, we have a lesson, but the kids love to play Hide and seek or Duck, Duck Goose. Last week for Family Home Evening the kids decided that we should all paint our faces. It was actually really fun. We all had a great time. Well, I'm not so sure if Jayden liked having his face painted, but we did it and he looked so cute!!

Elise Is Really a modest Girl

Justin decided to do the last post, even though I didn't want to expose Elise to the world. But, I thought I would show that Elise is really a modest girl. Even in the hottest weather, she wants to wear a long sleeve shirt and pants. I have to hide her winter clothes or she will wear them. She is sure a funny little girl.
Elise just started ballet, and she loves it . It is so fun to have something that is just for her. She is such a fun little girl. Here is a picture of her ballet pose.

Little Miss Independent

This is what happens when Elise puts her swimsuit on herself. Hopefully she learns the right way before she's a teenager.

Our Little Boy is Off to School

The Days of Dallin being at home are long gone. He is off to School and very excited about it. He was expecially excited about his new backpack. Now that I look back on his preschool years some days seemed like they were never going to end and some seemed too short. We are really excited for Dallin, but it is so sad to see our little baby grow up and step into the world. Life goes by so fast so I say that you might as well enjoy it. I really have enjoyed Dallin being at home and am so sad to see him grow up and start school, but I know that he will love it and learn so much. He loves to learn and has already learned a lot. It is very interesting to hear the things that he will say when he comes home from school. I am just so glad that he likes to talk to me and that he is very observant. I know he will be a great student. Good Luck Dallin in Kindergarten.

Happy Birthday Elise!!

This is our little baby girl on the day she was born. She had the most beautiful little face. The nurse kept on saying that she looked like such a girl. She has always been very feminine. My how time flies. Now she is 3 years old!!

Elise loves blowing out candles. I could not find our candles anywhere, so she had to blow out some candles that I had for decoration. She did not mind one bit. Of course, she had a pink cake. She is such a cute little girl.

Dallin and Elise decided to play in the sprinklers for Elise's birthday. They had such a great time. It is so nice to have sprinklers in our back yard.

Introducing Our New Home

So, This is our first house. It was a foreclosure, so as you can see the grass was dead. But after much work we have new grass. Also, I should say Grandpa Vance, Uncle Von and Justin repainted much of our house. It has been so fun to see the transformation. I finally have my purple kitchen!!!
The kids live the long driveway where they can ride bikes. It has been so fun for them. We have a nice park close by where we go almost every day. Also, we have a great bike path right behind our house. It has been a lot of fun.


Elise has learned how to sweep our great wood floors. What a great helper!


I have always wanted to paint at least one wall in our house purple, so we were really brave and did it. I really like it!!
Here is a picture of Justin and his Dad hard at work installing new wood floors. It was a lot of work for them, but they did such a good job, and it has been so worth it. What great guys!!

SOON TO COME

We are in the process of fixing our internet. We bought a house in Sparks, NV and after much painting, re-doing floors we are moved in. So, I have tons of pictures just waiting to be posted. So much happens in one month. Dallin graduated from pre-school, Elise is potty trained, and Jayden started crawling everywhere. My how time flies. Keep posted for our soon to come pictures.
